SSH Pilot Consultation Workshops

28 February 2024

Have your say in the future of research assessment in the SSH

The GraspOS pilot on Research Assessment in the Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) is looking to hear from the community.

The aim of the pilot is to improve research assessment practices by defining generally agreed-upon assessment criteria that are aligned with Open Science principles, and to do so by gathering insights from stakeholders in the SSH. Leading the SSH pilot, OPERAS will be hosting online consultation workshops in March 2024

Topics for discussion include

  • balancing quantitative and qualitative criteria,
  • responsible application of indicators,
  • recognising the diversity of research outputs,
  • core values for SSH research,
  • the role of digital platforms in assessment.

The consultation workshops are intended for both the evaluators and those who are evaluated in SSH research.
