The EU-funded project GraspOS kicked-off on the 19th and 20th of January 2023 in Athens and will run for 36 months, until the 31st of December 2025.

Its aim is to investigate responsible research assessment (RRA) approaches and interventions which take into consideration Open Science practices. The project will build and operate a federated infrastructure that will act as an open data space offering data, indicators, tools, services and guidance to support policy reforms towards a responsible research assessment system that embeds Open Science practices and which can be adopted in Europe.

The multidisciplinary consortium is coordinated by ATHENA RC, it is made of infrastructure experts, RRA and Open Science experts and research communities and gathers 18 partners from 10 countries.
