Using narrative CVs in responsible researcher assessment
The Federation of Finnish Learned Societies (TSV) will organise a webinar on Monday 2 September 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00 CEST on the use of narrative CV in responsible researcher assessment.
The Agreement on Reforming Research Assessment (CoARA) and the Finnish national recommendation Good practice in researcher evaluation emphasise the consideration of the diversity of research activities and profiles, as well as the primacy of qualitative evaluation, in career assessment. A narrative CV, such as Resumé for Researchers, has been developed to support the consideration of researchers' diverse skills and merits in different assessment situations.
In the webinar, Karen Stroobants (CoARA) and Sean Sapcariu (Luxemburg National Research Fund) will present the experiences and possibilities of using a narrative CV, followed by time for questions and discussion.
The event will be held remotely via Zoom.
