STI2024: Into the Great Wide Open? 

The 28th International Conference on Science, Technology and Innovation Indicators will take place from 18-20 September 2024 in Berlin, hosted by Fraunhofer ISI, Humboldt University, and DZHW, in partnership with ENID. The event will discuss the balance between openness and closedness in science, technology, and innovation. It will be held at the Fraunhofer Forum and Humboldt University

The STI 2024 conference will also feature special sessions that cover diverse topics, including open peer review practices, the role of standardisation in STI indicators, academic career assessments, the state of open research information, sustainable scholarship in the age of AI, transparency in bibliometric methods, and measuring research cultures. These sessions aim to foster discussions on emerging practices, address challenges, and explore future directions in science, technology, and innovation indicators.
