The landscape of research evaluation is undergoing a transformative shift, driven by the need for more equitable, transparent, and evidence-based assessment practices. The reform of the research assessment system has emerged as a top priority within the European Research Area, recognizing that evaluations of research projects, researchers, units, and institutions are critical to a robust and innovative research ecosystem. Recent policy efforts emphasize the adoption of transformative approaches that move beyond traditional metrics, incorporating both qualitative and quantitative measures to more accurately capture the diverse impacts of research.

In this context, the OpenAIRE Graph plays a pivotal role as a transparent and openly accessible resource, interlinking hundreds of millions of metadata records from over 100,000 trusted data sources. By connecting research outputs such as publications, datasets, and software, it ensures fairness, traceability, and openness in the dissemination and assessment of research. The OpenAIRE Graph aligns closely with the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable), providing a reliable foundation for more equitable and transparent research practices.

This presentation introduces a live demo of a fully functional BETA service, called MyResearchFolio, which integrates information from the OpenAIRE Graph and ORCID to offer a comprehensive view of a researcher’s academic outputs and career trajectory. Developed within GraspOS, this platform pulls all pertinent information and automatically consolidates it into a unified researcher assessment dashboard containing both qualitative insights and quantitative metrics (e.g. publications, datasets, software, and impact indicators). MyResearchFolio exemplifies how transparent, interoperable, and FAIR-compliant infrastructures can support holistic, equitable, and traceable research assessment practices, providing actionable insights for researchers and research performing organizations alike.

By offering a single, integrated view of a researcher’s contributions, MyResearchFolio allows researchers to better showcase their work and track their career progression. For research performing organizations, it facilitates data-driven decision-making, enabling more informed and responsible research assessments, strategic planning, and recognition of diverse research outputs.
