GraspOS SCOPE+i Resources to support RRA now available in Zenodo
New tools called SCOPE+i Resources are now available in Zenodo to support all kinds of research assessment processes for the use of research organisations to fit their needs. The resources can also be used in training and orientation sessions e.g. for new employees or PhD students.
GraspOS project has developed a tailored infrastructure, called the SCOPE+i Framework. The framework builds on, and takes its name from, the SCOPE Framework for Research Evaluation developed by the INORMS Research Evaluation Group (INORMS REG), extending it with supporting infrastructure (+i) and user interface, GraspOS Catalogue.
SCOPE+i Framework consists of two main components: assessment process resources and digital services. The assessment process resources – SCOPE+i Resources - support the transition towards responsible research assessment (RRA). Resources are provided in three formats; templates, guides, and checklists, and they all are based on what has already been published, such as recommendations and declarations. The aim of the resources is to support the design and documentation of research assessment events, providing guidance toward operationalizing RRA principles while respecting the flexibility needed to implement in local contexts.
Resources address the whole assessment process through initial planning to evaluation and reflecting the process. Resources can be used to support assessment of researchers and different types and sizes of research entities like research groups or organisations. All 17 practical resources are openly available in Zenodo and via GraspOS Catalogue.
