DESCRIPTION:A global gathering for knowledge sharing\, community building\,
  and opportunities to define a roadmap of research and intervention priori
 ties to accelerate science
 Many scholarly fields conduct descriptive res
 earch about the research process. Advocates and reformers have prescriptiv
 e ideas about how the research process might be improved. Policymakers\, f
 unders\, publishers\, and other stakeholders enact changes to the social a
 nd technical infrastructure of research. All have an interest in whether c
 hanges and reforms have their intended effects or unintended consequences 
 that might accelerate or inhibit advancement\, translation\, and applicati
 on of research. Together\, these researchers and stakeholders are the rese
 arch and development pipeline for improving the system and practice of res
 earch. The Metascience 2025 Conference will bring these communities togeth
 er to share ideas\, evidence\, and foster a culture of continuous experime
 ntation and improvement.
 With a focus on institutions\, innovations\, an
 d alliances\, Metascience 2025 will explore how metascience can drive chan
 ge: shaping policy\, leveraging new methods and AI\, and building longer-t
 erm infrastructures for open and effective research.

 ll include a programme of free virtual pre-conference symposia from mid-Ju
 ne\, aiming to expand the international conversation on key metascience to
 pics ahead of the conference itself.&nbsp\;
